From start to finish the Bible tells the story of God’s mighty and gracious acts. The drama of redemptive history begins in the garden and culminates in the dawning of the new creation, the consummation of the ages. For God’s people this story means everything. It is the story into which God has written our lives. It is the story which makes sense of our sometimes dismaying and discouraging circumstances. It is the story which explains the way in which God made us and the purpose for which we live. This ten week course will be a guided tour through God’s great story as it is told to us in the Bible. Participants will learn how to read and understand the Bible as a unified whole and draw hope from knowing where we are and where we are going in God’s great story.
