When you’re grieving the death of a family member or friend, you may dread the holiday season. Thoughts of social gatherings, family traditions, and obligations leave you anxious and overwhelmed. What can you do to lessen your stress and loneliness?

Surviving the Holidays is a helpful, encouraging seminar for people facing the holidays after a loved one’s death whether facing a more recent loss or one that occurred many years ago.  The seminar features video interviews with counselors, grief experts, and other people who have experienced the holidays after their loved one’s death and who offer practical suggestions and reassurance. Topics to be discussed include dealing with hard-hitting emotions, what to do about traditions, how to survive social events, and where to find comfort and strength.
