Covenant reaches out to the Hispanic community in the following ways:
Alianza Worship Services are in Spanish and are led by Pastor Jacinto Hernandez. Services are held Sundays at 11:15 a.m. upstairs in the Alianza Worship Room.
Adult Sunday School Class in Spanish (Hispanic children attend the English Sunday School classes.)
After-School Program is a community outreach to the Hispanic children living in the neighborhood around our church building. Program is done in English and includes Bible club, academic help, recreation, and snacks.
Small Group (in Spanish) meets every Friday and is an opportunity to strengthen bonds of fraternal love and support and to study God's Word.
English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are offered twice weekly for Hispanic adults in beginner and intermediate levels.
Camp Victory is a weekend camp experience offered for the Hispanic children involved in Alianza, the After School Program, and their friends.
Hispanic Community Assistance volunteers actively serve the Hispanic community through providing transportation, translation and interpretation, childcare, and acting as liaisons with schools, doctor’s offices, etc.
